A quaint lane through the stone village of Qinbi on Beigan Island of the Matsu Islands of Taiwan.
Qinbi is known for its well preserved examples of Eastern Fujian-style architecture. The unique architectural style is due to the original inhabitants of the islands having emigrated from the Fujian area of mainland China. Years ago, Qinbi village gained its wealth from the ample supplies of shrimp in the nearby sea but now is the local economy is driven mainly by tourism.
