Former King's castle, Het Steen (The Stone), reflected in a puddle of rainwater.
I've preached it before and I'll preach it again. Whenever it rains, strap on your galoshes and get out there because great things happen photographically after downpours. As illustrated above, a small puddle of water can act as a perfect mirror with the help of a polarizing filter.
An unknown building reflected in puddles of water on a cobblestone path. Seen looking north on Grote Pieter Polstraat (Google Maps).
After the downpour, I had a predetermined destination set, the above (top) Het Steen castle about 10 minutes from my apartment. En route, I snaked down cobblestoned back alleys in the historic center of Antwerp when this set of reflections caught my eye. The sun was setting so in my haste to reach Het Steen I wasn't able to get a fix or name of this reflected building but I believe it was simply one of the peripheral buildings beside the Grote Markt historic center of Antwerp.
