The coral-filled waters at low tide are colored pink by a setting sun.
The shallow channel between Ko Lipe and Ko Adang is a snorkeler's paradise (in paradise). The water teems with fish, some that fear you and others that attempt to intimidate you. Of the former, I mean no harm. I'm merely peeping briefly into their underwater life. Of the latter, if I were able to hold them by their tiny necks, I'd punch them on their stubby noses for their insolence.

The channels formed by bordering islands around Ko Lipe.
Notice the boats on the horizon. This area forms a safe haven, sheltering seamen from nausea but not much else. The seas around Ko Lipe are generally like a lake so the most a sailboat can feel is a gentle rocking motion, great for lulling them to sleep after a hard day of relaxing on land.
