I have a bit of a love affair with this village in China. I've visited three times over the years and each time, there seem to be ever-increasing numbers of Chinese tourists. Unfortunately, tourism in Dali appears to be reaching unsustainable levels so it would be interesting to see what, if anything, the Chinese government does to tame the overcrowded alleyways of Dali.
