Bottom-up view of one of the Petronas Twin Towers.
During the few minutes before and after I stood composing this image, several other visitors to the Petronas Towers snapped the exact same photo. As much as I try to do my business without comparing my photos to others, a part of me finds it difficult to avoid publishing photos whose near-equal I know exists out in the wild. But I couldn't avoid publishing this one. In the end, I can only hope their post-processing doesn't exactly resemble mine.
Press the SHIFT key to zoom in and the CTRL (CMD on Mac) key to zoom out. (Auto-pan starts if the flash object is left untouched.)
A user-controlled panorama of the Petronas Twin Towers.
As I promised yesterday, I present today, a hastily created panorama from the sidewalk across the street from the KLCC complex. I thought stitching the clouds would present more of a challenge but it proved relatively easy. The parallax effect seen on the ground is a different story. To avoid those, I'd need to purchase some fairly exorbitantly priced panorama creating gear (i.e. a pano head for my tripod).
