A panorama of the northeast corner of the Taj Mahal as seen from the raised marble platform.
Take a good look around. As far as this intrepid photographer is concerned, the scene here actually replicates what it feels like to be on the marble pedestal of the Taj. The only thing missing is a slight stench of smelly feet because shoes are forbidden from the marble platform. The actual mausoleum is larger than you anticipated, no? The holy Jamuna river is seen behind the Taj Mahal complex.
